- Fast steel removal to repair or reshape edges.

- Allows sharpening on the side of the grinding wheel to get a completely flat bevel.
- Exceptional durability with diamond, the world's hardest abrasive.
A grinding wheel for all materials
With this diamond wheel, you can sharpen nearly any type of material, including steel, ceramic and carbide. DC-200 Diamond Wheel Coarse fits Tormek T-4 Original, Tormek T-4 Bushcraft, Tormek T-3 and earlier models with a 200 mm diameter grinding wheel.
DC-200 Diamond Wheel Coarse does not leave a fine finish, but should be followed by sharpening with a more fine grained grinding wheel, such as the DF-200 Diamond Wheel Fine or the DE-200 Diamond Wheel Extra Fine.
Simplifies repeat sharpening
All of Tormek's diamond grinding wheels have exceptional durability with a constant removal rate and shape, which means that they always stay round and flat with a full-size diameter. Users who often sharpen the same tool benefit greatly from this, as it simplifies both setting up and sharpening.
Get a completely flat bevel
The constant shape makes it possible to grind either on the side of the wheel or on its upper surface. Side grinding is perfect for smaller tools such as knives, chisels, carving gouges and v-tools. The result is an edge with a completely flat bevel, instead of a slight hollow grind.
For sharpening on the side of the diamond wheels, we recommend using the MB-100 Multi Base together with the jig designed for your specific tool. Both the base and the jigs give you support and control throughout the sharpening process. If you're not sure which jig you should use, find out here.
Rust protection for increased service life
All diamond wheels are supplied with 150 ml of ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate. Always add the concentrate to the water when sharpening with water to prevent rust on the grinding wheel. Add 10 ml of concentrate to 250 ml water (~4 %). We recommend always using water when sharpening diamond wheels, as it both prolongs the life of the wheel and provides a smoother grinding surface. It is also possible to sharpen without water. Learn more about sharpening with diamond grinding wheels.
