15N20 whist being an extremely usable carbon steel all by it self. Heat treating much like 1084 it will make very usable high end knives. 

An ideal steel to be layered up with 1084 to give the optimum vivid contrast in colour. As used by some of the best smiths in the world including Jason Knight and Fingal Ferguson.
